January Updates + New Partnership!

All,

The Project is gaining steam! It has been a wild holiday season, as the structure and foundation for our initiative are beginning to take shape.

Having settled into my deployment in Kuwait, connections and networking have begun for all phases and parts of the Project. From logistics to donations to working partnerships, we've come a long way in a short amount of time. We've even had stickers made and have begun to distribute them to social media followers and supporters across the world.... in the first week, the stickers went to 5 countries and 3 continents! Continue to check our Instagram and Twitter accounts for the next opportunity to get a handful of our stickers for free.

In more important news, we are excited to announce a new partnership with Freedom Is Football Project. The Football Is Freedom Project is a non-profit initiative based out of Toronto that aims to drive positive social change through soccer. Experienced in raising funds to donate soccer equipment to children less fortunate in Africa, they are a natural collaborative partner that will help push us closer to meeting our mission. The Football Is Freedom team will provide an equipment donation and fundraising element that will be critical to making the "Beautiful Game" beautiful once again in Iraq and the surrounding areas. Welcome our new partners by visiting their Instagram page and give them a follow. We look forward to having the Football Is Freedom team on our side!

I would also like to take the time here to announce a new member of the Iraqi Soccer Project team. Ashleigh Hollier is an experienced CPA who will be involved in the accounting and financial aspects of the Project. Based out of New Orleans, Ashleigh's critical thinking, attention to detail, and passion for our Project will be a huge asset to our leadership group. We are ecstatic to have her on-board!

More news will follow through the coming weeks. Stay tuned and help spread the word.

Over and Out,

Trey
